We believe in collaborating with our clients to determine their specific needs. Our motto is Achieve the Precise Value. We offer a variety of different services, depending on the client's needs. The following explains in greater detail some of the services we offer:
A Nurse Life Care Plan (LCP) is used to estimate the costs of future medical and associated non-medical needs of an individual who has a catastrophic injury or illness. The Nurse Life Care Plan is based on the nursing process. This basic process is assessment, diagnosis, outcome, planning, implementation and evaluation. The plan is designed to follow the individual throughout their lifetime to ensure adequate funding for their needs. A visit is performed to assess him/her, nursing diagnoses are determined, desired outcomes are identified, planning is documented for future needs of the individual, ideally a case manager will be designated to implement the plan and to evaluate the individual's response to care received. The Nurse Life Care Plan utilizes a collaborative approach with other health care providers.
A Medical Cost Projection (MCP) is a succinct view of future medical care and associated needs. It is similar to a Life Care Plan but not as detailed. Often it is used to obtain a picture of future cost in preparation for mediation, to be proactive for cost containment, to understand an illness/injury and complications that can arise as a result of the illness/injury.
Review of an LCP or MCP is utilized when opposing counsel has had one prepared. The rationale for a review by a Nurse Life Care Planner is to understand the big picture of the medical condition and subsequent development of medical complications. A Review can be performed to check for future medical treatment which may have not been documented in the plan and to check for calculation errors.
